iMac Classic i7


The original iMac G3 is an All-In-One Macintosh introduced by Apple in 1998. It featured a 15" (13.8" viewable) CRT display, CD Rom drive, 2 USB ports, stereo speakers, modem and built-in ethernet enclosed in a translucent body.

The iMac G3, despite discontinued in 2003, has brought about a computing revolution in the millennium era. iMac Classic i7 is aiming to upgrade the iconic classic with new components so that it could still influential after 20 years of its birth.

In the course of upgrading the iMac G3, despite we had replaced the original Cathode-Ray Tube (CRT) with 1600 x 1200 pixels TFT panel, the CRT funnel, the original deflection yoke, the video card, and analogue board are all perserve.

The first iMac i7 has the Mac Mini's logic board been replaced, and it has 2TB storage and 16GB memory respectively. 

Since Apple has introduced a new range of M1 based Mac, the iMac Classic could be further upgrade to iMac Classic M1.

Higher Resolution; Less Pixelated

The iMac Classic i7 features a 1600 x 1200 pixels TFT panel. Your world becomes sharper and more detailed.

The CRT Glass Funnel

The CRT glass funnel is remade and mount with the TFT panel at the front. The original deflection yoke, the video card, and analogue board are all perserve.

Peripheral Connections

The left side panel of the iMac Classic i7 has working mic and speaker jacks, FireWire 400 x2, USB 3.1 x2 and the ethernet port.
